We have had the first of South Island Whitebait – What a treat!
When we can get supply, we have it in an egg fritter or lightly dusted in flour and flash fried.
The new scallop season is progressing well also, and though starting a little slim, they are now fat and sweet – delicious.
Christmas will be upon us before we know. Remember to book early especially for groups and Aqua room requests.
